The estimated cost of engineering services is broken down into three sections: personnel, travel, and materials. The billing rates determined for the staff include their hourly rate as well as any overhead that is necessary. Travel costs are based on NAU reimbursement services. Materials are an estimation for how long the team will be in the labs and how much they anticipate the bench-scale model to cost.
