    Work experience

    Software Engineer at Yahoo! - Mobile Search
    • Prototyped a developed a tabbed web browser for the iPad.
    • Designed and built several touch-based UI components and controllers.

    Side Projects

    Liftroom.com: A social network for musicians built on Rails 3.1 and Backbone.js.
    • Epitomizes fat-client skinny-server architecture.
    • Developed a powerful MVC framework on top of Backbone.js, with components modeled after the Cocoa framework (view controllers, notification center, delegate pattern).
    KickBack: An iPhone app on node.js and the Rdio API that allows you to listen to music asynchronously with your friends.
    • Won ‘Best Crowdsourcing App’ at iOS DevCamp 2011.

    Proficient Skills

    Objective-c, iOS SDK, Ruby, Rails, JavaScript, SQL. MVC architecture and design patterns.

    • Designs, builds and maintains user-friendly, dynamic web sites and applications with PHP, mySQL, jQuery and HTML5.

    jjjjjo.sh, a repository of neat stuff I’ve done, is perennially coming soon. Circle is a web and iOS app I built with a couple of friends to help people find events where they are.
