SAE Mini Baja

Team 02 - Drivetrain

The team is focusing on the drivetrain design for the Baja vehicle. The drivetrain design contains transmission system and subsystems. We have identified these subsystems to be a possible gear reduction system, power transmission system (axles/CV joints) and a bearing system. We will be choosing the best transmission is through calculations and the analysis of what prior high placing teams have used in the competitions before. Our goal is to design a drivetrain configuration that will not only complete the competition but place highly above rival teams.
