Team Whirlwind Members:
Trevor Johnson-Architect/Back-End tkj44@nau.edu
I am Trevor Johnson, the team architect and lead back-end developer for
project Smartfan. Throughout my time studying Computer Science, I have
most enjoyed gettting into the weeds of designing and programming complex,
large-scale systems such as this. I currently work as a Python programmer
focused on data retrieval and post-processing, a skill which will greatly
help us to obtain the weather data needed to construct predictive models
to increase the system's accuracy and efficiency.
Brandon Mack-Team Lead/Hardware bjm462@nau.edu
I am Brandon Mack, the team leader of Team Whirlwind as well as the
Electrical Engineering link. I find interest in AI search algorithms
and machine learning which will be applied in this project for our
predictive weather components and user adjustment stretch goals. I
also enjoy working with hardware, which extends to my electrical
engineering background and the ability to bridge the gap in knowledge
between the previous team that worked on Project Smartfan and our current team.
