Envisioned Solution

Our plan is to create a Linux application that communicates with temperature sensors using Zigbee, and with a web application, and Weather services, using WiFi. There will also be a UI implemented in the control module, to allow for control of the SmartFan System like any HVAC unit. The Linux application will take the information from the local temperature sensors and the weather services database to make predictions on what the temperature will be and when the fan needs to be activated to reach the desire temperature. This solution will provide a cost effective solution for people to cool their homes while being environementally conscious.
