Description
With the ever growing problem of climate change, HVAC costs around the
world are increasing. The increase in costs is putting heavy pressure on
people while also significantly contributing to the carbon footprint.
Project SmartFan will use a fan system in buildings to support and assist
existing HVAC systems by taking air from outside when it is closer to the
desired temperature than inside.
Facing the problem of growing engery costs from HVAC systems, we believe
that our updated design of the SmartFan will allow for it to be more accessible
and more viable for the average person to use. We also hope that the introduction
of the web application will allow for an easier and smoother experience for the user.
