While work for the project is being done in Flagstaff (or remotely), the prototype design is intended to be tested in the areas that the Red Feather Development Group typically does their work. This area includes the Hopi Nation and the Western Agency Council of the Navajo Nation. The Western Council is highlighted in yellow and teal, and the Hopi Nation in pink, in the image shown below. Due to time and resource constraints, the tests were eventually performed in Flagstaff, however this was not considered to be a major issue due to the temperatures in Flagstaff generally being lower than those in the region shown.
