Matt Borges

Team Leader and Technical Advisor Liaison

Hi, my name is Matthew Borges and I am a Mechanical Engineering transfer student set to graduate in fall of 2012. I grew up in the central valley of northern California and made my way out to Scottsdale, AZ in early 2009 and up to Flagstaff in fall of 2010. I enjoy snowboarding, wakeboarding, and many other outdoor activities. As with most other engineers, in my spare time I like to work with my hands and starts projects as often as possible...sometimes I even finish them.

I’m 20 years old and a senior at Northern Arizona University.  I am graduating in December of 2012 with a mechanical engineering degree, an emphasis in mechanical design, and a minor in mathematics. I hope to work with the design and construction of robotics after I graduate.  I love an adrenaline rush and anything adventurous especially if it involves the outdoors.

I’m a graduating mechanical engineer with a minor in mathematics. I’m from Seattle, WA and came down to NAU for the weather and all of the different outdoor activities. My favorites are snowboarding, mountain biking and hiking. I have really enjoyed my time here and can’t wait to get out into the working field and see what opportunities come my way.

I’m a graduating mechanical engineering senior at Northern Arizona University. After building robots in high school, I decided to study engineering. I also volunteer in the emergency room at Flagstaff Medical Center and want to breach engineering with medical and become a rehabilitative engineer. I enjoy doing anything outside and love being a big kid.
