Testing Problems:
Problems encountered before and during testing included many issues with the software package Labview and the computers available to run the desired software. We also had issues with static discharge build up within the data acquisition (DAQ) board and ambient noise being picked up either through the laptop or accelerometers. These problems were taken head on one at a time with successful test results eventually being able to be collected.
Test case #1:
This test was presented to us from our client to verify that we could hand calculate a fundamental frequency for the stainless steel rod along with obtaining test results within 10% of the calculations. Click the hyperlink below to access the full report done on the rod.
