Our team is currently building a mobile app for Missions and Madness in order to be more accessible, more modern,
and more customizable! The first step of our solution is to translate the base game into a mobile app format.
This includes hosting the game on an app, allowing others with the app to join via a 4-digit code, setting preference
settings, choosing a game location, and following through the gameplay steps.
On top of this, we plan on adding a few key features as well. We want to enable this game to played just about anywhere;
not just Flagstaff. This means we can make new play areas and enable the community to be able to make locations for
the game that anyone can access! Additionally, when implementing the data base for storing game information, we want
to make it modular so that Morgan can create new scenarios to be added later and that users can enjoy!
We also plan to use a combination of Unity, SQLite, C# and SQL to create our app; our currernt layout for our app can be
seen in our diagram below. You can see our Project Technologies and Tech Demo page for further information.
Lastly, there will be new quality of life implementations such as aesthetical improvements, calorie tracker, videos/photos of
exercises, and tutorials for the roles!
All of this and more will be included within the Missions and Madness app!
Our User will first interact with the UI on a celluar device, which will aloow them to press buttons to then run
the app. The app itself will be built using Unity as the main framework, with the ability to remotely access the SQLite
database.
