F1/10 Yellowtails is a team that was formed with the goal to improve accessibility to the F1/10 autonomous racing platform. The team is comprised of Bowen Boyd, Hanyue Wang, Kyle Watson, and Jordan Wright, under the mentorship of Isaac Shaffer. We are working on creating an intuitive graphical user interface that allows people with limited coding experience to drive F1/10 vehicles autonomously. The project is sponsored by Dr. Truong Nghiem, who has received a grant from the IEEE Control System Society Outreach fund for developing an annual robotics summer camp for high-school students, based on the F1/10 autonomous racing platform.
