Natasha O. Dmitrieva, PHD
natalia.dmitrieva@nau.edu
Dr. Dmitrieva is a developmental health psychologist with
expertise in applied statistical methodology. The long-term
goal of her research is to improve the understanding of
mechanisms of chronic disease management in middle
adulthood. Dr. Dmitrieva studies this topic using distinct
approaches: (1) by investigating how momentary contexts are
linked to health behaviors, (2) by improving existing and
developing novel assessments of health behaviors, and (3)
by identifying particularly vulnerable subgroups of
individuals that may benefit the most from targeted
interventions. She is currently leading a project that
examines momentary stressor exposure and health behaviors
in a racially and ethnically diverse sample.
