DECISION MATRIX DESCRIPTION There were five design criteria that were used for scoring each design alternative. The criteria chosen and weighted was construction cost, design complexity, time of construction, annual maintenance, and environmental impacts. Each design alternative was scored for each of the design criteria on a 1-3 scale, one being a poor score and three being an excellent score. As a result alternative design 2 for bioswales was scored the highest.
