Retention Basin that is designed to hold stormwater runoff. In which after a storm event the water will be held until it infiltrates back into the ground.
Series of bioswales on sloped land that will fill with stormwater runoff by pooling at the top and excess water would then top over into the next bioswale. This design would begin at the easement access road and have an outlet leading into the E. Appalachian road.
Retention basin followed by a series of bioswales on sloped land. This is a combined design of alternatives 1 and 2.
Riprap upstream of a retention basin. Riprap would begin south of the easement access road and line the existing natural channel slowing the stormwater runoff.. Where the stormwater runoff would then meet a retention basin just above the Shadow Mountain community in a location where the natural channel widens.
