I decided to join this team because I am interested in energy. I was able to participate in research that concerned energy and now I am studying energy as a whole. By joining this team, I also hope to learn more about renewable energy.
Hi, my name is Natalie McDonald. I am a senior at Northern Arizona University studying Mechanical Engineering. I was introduced to the project in my junior year because of my interest in renewable energy and my passion to leave the planet better for future generations. I joined the project to learn more about the renewable energy industry and work on a team that shares the same goals. The skills I learn in this project will help me in my future careers to help the world become more sustainable.
Hi my name is Aaron Zeek. I am a senior at Northern Arizona University studying mechanical engineering. I joined the CWC capstone team because of my passion for renewable energy systems and to also learn more about the wind power industry. I also wish to make a positive impact with my degree and leave the planet a more sustainable place.
I joined this project to get a deeper understand of clean energy systems and continue my career on it. Through my travel experiences, I understood millions of people do not have access to electricity. Humankind created messes using non-renewable energy which no one can't cover. This small footstep is to harmonize with nature and make clean energy for everyone.
I joined the Collegiate Wind Competition Capstone because I think that the world won’t be able to move in a positive direction until reliable renewable power is widely used. I wanted to work on this capstone to get a better idea of how the wind and energy sector works as well as what challenges are faced when creating a wind power plant.
