Welcome to the HCC25 Capstone Website! 

The Hydropower Collegiate Competition is an annual event sponsored by the Department of Energy. The hydropower industry is a critical part of renewable energy in the United States, with the competition stating that hydropower produces "37% of total U.S. renewable electricity generation" and provides "93% of grid scale energy storage."  The main goal of the HCC is to give students industry experience in hydropower and instill a passion of renewable energy into younger people.
