Objective Tree & Pairwise Comparison

In the objective tree, we identify the key objectives of our design: cost, quality, and power. Our product will be cost-effective to reduce utility costs and increase access to AC in developing countries. We want to ensure SmartFan will fulfill the needs of the user to cool their homes and predict the weather to establish its quality. Low power is essential to reduce carbon emissions compared to alternatives like air conditioners.

In our pairwise matrix, we identified the weights of the objectives mentioned previously. As pictured, power is our main priority due to our mission of combatting climate change. Quality comes in second due to our primary purpose of satisfying our customers. Although cost is crucial, we want to focus on the user's needs, making it our last objective.
