  • Design Presentation - Presented on March 7, 2017 to update class on progression of capstone project.

  • Elected to discontinue three-channel boost converter design.

Testing:

  • 75W Low Power ALEKO Wind Turbine: Testing successful, turbine produces expected rated voltage.

Challenges:

  • Simulation issues - unable to achieve a working simulation for the single channel boost converter.
  • Delay in purchasing due to delay in simulation.
  • Discrepencies in expectations from faculty mentor and client.
