The Team
Team Helio is composed of four electrical engineering students, our faculty advisor, Dr. Niranjan Venkatraman, and our sponsor, Sedona Energy Labs.
Tom Borkowski is a senior in the Electrical Engineering program at Northern Arizona University
where he focused on studies in power systems, power eletronics, and electric drives. He spent two summers interning with
Arizona Public Service at the Palo Verde Nuclear Generating Station. Tom takes special interest in this
project for its focus on renewable power. He graduates in May 2011 and will begin work at the Palo Verde Nuclear Generating
Station in Phoenix, AZ.
