Requirements highlights
The major requirements we need to fulfill for our clients are Task management and Document management systems. The task manager handles task's scheduling, assignment, editing, and reminders. The document manager handles data collection, version, and analysis report creation.
Task scheduler
When a task is created and attached to offered course, this function will automatically create same future task and assign to future offering of this course, according to the ABET accreditation cycle, so no task will be overlooked.
Task assignment
When a course is taught, there is no guarantee that the same instructor will teach
this course again. Flexibility in assigning tasks to different instructors is a must feature.
Task editing
Likewise, task description may change from time to time. Ability to edit any task is also important.
Task reminders
Our system will alert or "nag" our users when tasks are due and past due.
Data collection
Our system will allow users to upload collected data, such as course and
alumni evaluations to associated course offering.
Versioning
Every change, every edition made to tasks, will be kept in the archive as versioned records.
Analysis report creation
Knowing how instructors performed in teaching a class is very important, especially when the department
wants to make improvement or changes to courses taught. Collected data must be analyzed carefully scrutinizing.
