Project Location
The site is located at the intersection between Rio de Flag and Spruce Wash. The image describes the area in relation to Flagstaff, Arizona, with the red box showing the general area of the site.
Spruce Wash (yellow line) flows north to south and carries sediment deposits created by the Museum Fire burn scar. This sediment travels southward and is built up in the Rio de Flag channel. The Rio de Flag (blue line) comes from south to north. The image describes the flow of these two channels.
At the intersection, there are a couple culverts. One is inactive and completely buried while the other is still active. Sediment deposit can be visible from an aerial view displayed in the image to the right.
