Copper Age Mine Preliminary Assessment and Site Investigation
Project Description
The objective of the project is to perform a combined Preliminary Assessment and Site Inspection (PA/SI) of the Copper Age Mine (CAM) site. The site will be assessed for contaminants of concern (COC), including heavy metals, associated with the mining process. The results of this PA/SI are for the BLM with the intent of providing the necessary information to perform future remediation or removal strategies.
Client
The client for the CAM project is the Bureau of Land Management (BLM). The BLM contact is Eric Zielske, P.E, Hazardous Management and Resource Restoration Program Lead. This agency is responsible for the conservation of public lands through the Federal Land Policy and Management Act (FLPMA). They are concern with recretionalists using this land.
