Hello, my name is Jared Bonds and I am a senior in Mechanical Engineering. I have been riding dirt bikes since I was 3 years old giving me a total of 24 years of offroad experience. Of that time, I have been completing my own maintenance on all of my vehicles since I was old enough to turn a wrench. From here I would love to take my degree and be a part of an offroad race team. Anything and everything off road related is a love of mine and will continue to do so for the rest of my life!
My name is Erik DiMaria and I am 23 years old attending NAU for my undergraduate in Mechanical Engineering. I enjoy multiple hobbies. I also enjoy finding out how certain things work and why they work. Life's mysteries intrigue me.
My name is Claire Pescatore and I am a senior pursuing my mechanical engineering degree at Northern Arizona Univeristy. As a part of the drivetrain team, I am excited to be hands on in the machine shop. I have always been interested in working on vechicles growing up, I have spent some time working on a few projects with my dad and grandfather. A couple hobbies of mine include hiking, climbing, highlining, skiing, offroading, and biking. Over the years I have grown fond of this team and it excites me to be able to finish up a long journey with everyone.
Hello, my name is Logan, and I am a member of the drivetrain subsection for the SAE Baja Competition. I was raised mostly in San Diego, California and Phoenix, Arizona, origninally from San Juan, Puerto Rico. This year marks my fourth year at Northern Arizona University, and I plan on graduating in May 2023. Some of my hobbies include traveling, messing around on SolidWorks and playing football, basketball, or baseball. This capstone project allows me to apply my SolidWorks skills. It also gives me the opportunity to work on making these ideas come to reality, which is something I have wanted to do since my freshman year of college when I was first introduced to SolidWorks.
Hello, My name is Dylan Wisniewski. I am a senior at NAU in Mechanical Engineering. All my life I have enjoyed the hobby of cars. From a young age I would work on cars involving general maintenance to installing performance modifications. The SAE Baja project is a perfect way for me to use what I already know about how the automotive industry works as well as expand my knowledge further with what I don't know. In my free time I really enjoy watching sports and working out.
For as long as I can remember I’ve been obsessed with car industry. From this project I hope to further my Mechanical as well as Automotive knowledge through engineering design and analysis practices. Some interests I have within engineering include Mechanical Structures and Thermodynamics. In my free time you can find me either watching sports or hanging out with friends.
At a young age Robert discovered that he loved to learn how things around him worked. He knew that he wanted to be an Engineer. Currently he is a Mechanical Engineering student with Northern Arizona University. He has been able to work as an Engineer with some of the best Mechanical Engineers in their field. While working he has been able to design products and see them through the manufacturing process. He has gained experience with working with multidisciplinary teams to complete complex projects.
