The MAV is designed to carry a crew of 2 from he Mars surface to LMO. The design selected is based on requirements from the RASC-AL Mars Challenge. The height of the MAV is 9.08 m, with a maximum width of 4.07 m. The team will be using metallica hydrogen as its fuel and liquid neon to keep the metallic hydrogen and thrust chamber cool. The total dry mass of the MAV is 4,350 kg.
