Creating an anatomical model of the bifurcation will be key to the teams success. This model will be used to create both molds, inner and outer, of the the bifurcation. Silicone will be poured all over the model and once cured the silicone will be cut away from the 3D print leaving a two part silicone mold. This same process will be recreated in order to create the inner mold. The inner mold will be used to create an extrusion of the hollow bifurcation out of wax. This wax core will be placed into the outer mold and where the liquid material will be poured around it. Once set the The material will be removed from the mold, with the wax still inside, and the wax core will be melted out leaving a hollow bifurcation.
