Goal:

The team’s goal for the project is to design a display to educate young children basic knowledge on science, technology, engineering and mathematics. The team’s process to achieve this goal is to create a unique design with high quality materials and a detailed overview of every part that is installed on this display. The team is fully committed to complete this project and will perform on the highest level, and with that level of performance, the team is aiming to focus hard and get a great experience from working with a team.

Purpose:

The team was formed based on many factors related to our field of studies. The team is composed of five mechanical engineering students with many background specialities. Through reading the guidelines and project descriptions, each one of us settled down on choosing Project 2: Wonder Factory STEM Display as our main personal preference. Next, the team was formed. The team’s purposes are mainly choosing a unique and special design that would be a great addition to the wonder factory and also would be appealing to Jackee and Steve. Ideally, the wonder factory has served as a leading place targeted towards the young generation and aiming to help them grow as individual thinkers in their future careers. The team’s project would be tackling concepts related to engineering as well as different areas of mathematics, science, and arts. The stakeholders are going to be young children and wonder factory visitors who are eager to learn new materials as they interact with the displayed objects or projects.
