Project Introduction:

The NAU Dental Hygiene Department travels to many countries to help people in need of dental work. Their job is to fill holes and cavities in their patients’ teeth with a dental capsule. The dental capsules contain a powder and liquid in them that is separated until activated right before they need to be used. When they are needed they get inserted into an electric tritrator and mixed for about 10 seconds. This analysis will be done on the energy required to properly mix the dental capsule. Getting the homogenous mixture mixed properly is the main goal of the team. If the capsule is not mixed properly then it will not work and our design would have then failed its task. This is a very critical analysis that we need to understand what will and will not work. Our proposed design is a electric toothbrush and we must know if the energy supplied will be enough to give our clients the proper mixture.
