About Us
The photo above shows the Northern Arizona University mechanical engineerng students of the 2014 DOE Collegiate Wind Competition. The Blade Design and Construction team will be controlling the design and manufacturing process of each blade on the micro-wind turbine as well as the shaft and bearing design and the rotor system. The Balance of Systems and Testing Team will be in charge of the tower, base, nacelle, yawing system design and the other main components of the wind turbine design.
