Bio:
Perry is a licensed mechanical engineer and SolidWorks professional. He worked with advanced composites for seventeen years in industry and now works at Northern Arizona University teaching ME180 Computer-Aided Design and managing the Engineering Fabrication Shop. Perry is also the faculty advisor for the NAU ASME student chapter.
Perry's interest in the NAU ASME student chapter, as well as his devotion to student outreach programs, led him to becoming the client for the 2011 HPVC capstone team. He has asked the team to design and fabricate a tandem bicycle that can be used in future outreach programs to get younger students in the Flagstaff community interested in science and engineering.
