Jonah Walsh

Education Experience:
I enrolled in Coconino Community College straight out of high school
back in 1996. After three semesters I realized that I needed to do
some soul searching and left. During my break from school I worked
full time replacing auto glass. I made a respectable living and
purchased my first home at the age of 20. After a five year break I returned
to school with a renewed motivation and determination to complete what I
started. With this desire to complete school my studies have
improved drastically and my focus is on the degree. I am a member of the engineering honor society Tau
Beta Pi with a 3.85 GPA. I enjoy the challenge of school and hope
to pursue my masters upon graduation.

Hobbies:
I am an avid snowboarder since 1989. I have competed in several
boarder-cross competitions and live for the steep and deep snow days.
My dream vacation involves a backcountry heli-boarding trip in Alaska. My other passion is riding motorcycles.
I have been riding off-road motorcycles since 1990 and street bikes
since 1999. I have competed with the local AMX (Arizona Motocross)
association in the past but had to quit for financial reasons since my
return to school.
