Testing Results
The bio-digester was located outside so it was exposed to the elements. With it being spring time in Flagstaff, the temperatures widely fluxuated making it hard to maintain a stable environment. Therefore, the results of the bio-digester were limited. No gas can be accumulated below 60 degrees fahrenheit so only a small garbage bag of gas was collected throughout this process. For the bio-battery, we were able to light a LED with four of our batteries connected in series.
On the left is a graph showing the results from the first prototype of just water and cow manure. The graph on the right side of the screen shows the results from the second set of prototypes. All of our batteries lost potential over time.
