The 38mm Aerotech Test Motor (depicted on the top) is a commercially available motor that we tested with our system which resulted in the thrust curve, impulse, max thrust, and rocket burn time all being accurate to what was advertised within a 10% rated error.
54mm Motor
The graphs to the right display the Thrust over Time and Pressure over Time of the 54mm Test. The Total Impulse, Max Thrust, and Rocket Burn Time are also calculated and displayed.
Load Cell Calibration
The load cell is calibrated with known weights and compared with the measured voltage to obtain the best fit calibration.
Pressure Transducer Calibration
The pressure transducer is calibrated with a deadweight tester and compared with the measured analog voltage to obtain the best fit calibration.
Thermistor Calibtation
The thermistor is calibrated with an ice bath that is brought to its boiling point and compared with the analog voltage to find the calibration curve.
