Daniel Copley

Daniel Copley

Biography:

Daniel Copley is an Electrical Engineer with an emphasis in Computer Engineering. His favorite programming language is Python; however, he is fluent in several languages including: C, C++, Python, Java, Matlab, and Javascript. Professionally and academically, he has done extensive work with both Xilinx and Altera FPGA's in VHDL and SystemVerilog. Daniel has also professionally designed Printable Circuit Boards (PCBs) using Altium Designer. In his free time, he enjoys the occasional round of golf or chess, and spending time with his friends.

Role:

Daniel is the Vendor/Client Liaison and lead technical designer for the team, as well as the head of development for the Drone Navigation and Path Planning branch of the project.

Noah Levie

Noah Levie

Biography:

Noah Levie is an Electrical Engineer with an emphasis in Computer Engineering. He is trained in Arduino, Python, Java, and MATLAB and enjoys working on teams with other engineers. Professionally, he has done work in the field of data processing using Python with ePlus Technology. Noah primarily enjoys spending his free time engaged in computer gaming, roleplaying games, socializing with friends, and learning about science and technology.

Skills:

  • Foundational programming experience in Java, Arduino, MATLAB, and Python
  • Calculus-based sciences and mathematics
  • Writing and public speaking

Role:

Noah is the Team Leader and Scheduling Coordinator for the team, as well as the lead developer of the Image Processing branch of the project.

Mohammed Almershed

Mohammed Almershed

Biography:

Mohammed Almershed is an Electrical Engineer with an emphasis in Electrical Engineering. He is from Kuwait, and his personal hobbies include martial arts, reading books about emerging technologies and scientists, and indulging in the consumption of cheese. He has chosen to pursue an education in Electrical Engineering because it is a very dynamic and challenging field of study.
