Our Team
Noah is an Electrical Engineer with an emphasis in power and renewable energy. He has had experience working in high voltage AM radio, the power and distribution industry, as well as the protection and automation side of power distribution. Noah is leading the auxiliary connection portion of this project and acting as the team leader, as well as assisting on other subtasks such as the DC/DC converter and the arduino coding.
Aidan is a Computer Engineer with an interest in Power. He would like to design power systems for renewable resources in the future, but while at NAU, Aidan has taken on designing the DC/DC converter for this project. He intends to make the best converter he can, and learn as much as he can while doing it.
Benjamin is an Electrical Engineer. He is interested in working with the power company. Benjamin is leading the coding of the Arduino that works with the final boost.
Evan is a Computer Engineer with an interest in semiconductors. He has experience with test engineering for test and checkout devices for companies who develop transient diodes for phones, and matrix units for powering trains, planes, etc. Evan is responsible for parts research and purchasing.
Nolan is an Electrical engineer, he hopes to eventually work in the power distribution industry. He has experience in semiconductors and coding as well as optics. As of now, Nolan has taken over the lead role as the PCB designer for this project and will also be assisting with the development of the emergency stop button for the turbine.
