Problem Statement

Sophomore level design courses frequently build robots that require wireless control capability.  Professor Hatfield has requested that a simple, stand alone device be built that will ease the use of wireless communication between robot and computer.  This device must meet the requirements discussed in this presentation.  The wireless communication system will allow the EGR286 students to operate robots at further distances without the use of an umbilical cable connected to the computer.
