Power Manager
The power supply that provides the correct amounts of power to the microcontroller, accelerometer and display systems.

Microcontroller
The microcontroller is the brain of the device that monitors the user's activity and calculates the: speed, distance traveled, acceleration, and acts as a timer.

Accelerometer
Microelectromechanical device that senses each step taken by the user.

Display
Seven digit LEDs that display the: speed, distance traveled, acceleration, and time.
