I. Roles
- Leader: Jason Campbell
- coordinates and runs meetings
- compiles documents with Facilitator
- Communicator: Joshua Colvin
- responsible for all communications with the sponsor
- coordinates meetings with sponsor
- Recorder: Jason Sherrill
- takes meeting notes
- Email out meeting minutes
- maintains team notebook
- Facilitator: Ben Tobin
- resolves disputes
- compiles documents with Leader
II. Meetings
- Weekly Time: Thursdays at 6:30 PM
- Standard Agenda
- 1. discuss progress of each person, problems encountered, solutions found
- 2. present new ideas, brainstorming
- 3. discuss ideas and proposed changes
- 4. determine deliverables due at next meeting
- Decision Strategy - try to come to a unanimous agreement. If this is not
possible, Email sponsor to get his input
- Minutes: sent by Email by day after the meeting
- Attendance Rule: Any missed meeting without an excuse will be discussed and
consequences will be determined then.
- Conflict Resolution Strategy: The facilitator will mediate and the leader
will keep order. If the facilitator is involved in a conflict then somebody else
not involved in the conflict will mediate. A neutral non-team member may be brought
in.
III. Document Standards
- Word Processor Version: Microsoft Word 97
- Coordination: Leader and Facilitator will take turns compiling documents
- Version Control: RCS
- Format: Times New Roman, 12 pt. font, bottom center page numbering
- Review Process: Individual components should be done before the team meeting
preceding the document due date.
IV. Self Evaluation Method
- Our team will evaluate our efficiency, effectiveness, and progress at each meeting.
- This will take the form of informal discussions.
V. Standards for Behavior / Cooperation
- Anybody can suggest a design change. Team consent is always required.
- No side talking or otherwise informal meetings. The Leader will determine
who gets to speak if two people are talking over each other.
