3. Users Guide
Doc Who has two main screens, the Doc List screen, and the Doc View screen.
3.1. Doc List
When you first run Doc Who, the first thing you see is a list of the Doc
files on your Palm, along with a row of pushbuttons (actions) along the
bottom of the screen.
3.1.1. Action buttons
3.1.1.1. "Open"
Opens a Doc file for viewing and/or editing.
3.1.1.2. "Details"
View and modify details about a Doc file.
3.1.1.3. "Ren"
Rename a Doc file.
3.1.1.4. "Del"
Delete a Doc file.
3.1.1.5. "Beam"
Beam (transfer) a Doc file to another Palm
3.1.2. Display by specific category
You can have Doc Who display Doc files only belonging to a specific category
by using to category pull-down list in the upper right hand corner of the
screen. When there are more Doc files than will display on the screen at
once, you can use the scroll buttons located on the lower right hand corner
of the screen to view additional Doc files.
3.1.3. Doc List Menu Items
3.1.3.1. "Doc" menu:
Preferences: Change global preferences for Doc Who (currently not
implemented)
Beam Category: Beam all Doc files belonging to current category
(currently not implemented)
New Doc: Create a new Doc file (currently not implemented)

3.1.3.2. "Find" menu:
In Category: Find string in any Doc files belonging to current category
3.2. Doc View Menu's
When you open a Doc file, a screen appears showing the contents of the Doc
file. You can use the physical scroll buttons on your Palm to scroll through
this document. If you would like to edit the Doc file, tap on the screen
where you would like to start entering text.
3.2.1. Doc View Menu Items
In the "Doc" menu:
Preferences: Change global preferences for Doc Who (currently not
implemented)
Details: Allows you to view and change which category the Doc file
is assigned to, view the size of the Doc file and view
various date information
Beam Doc: Beam current Doc file to another Palm (currently not
implemented)
Duplicate: Create copy of current Doc file (currently not implemented)
Delete: Delete current Doc file (currently not implemented)
Done: Close current Doc file and return to the Doc List screen

3.2.2. In the "Edit" menu
Undo: Undo the last edit operation
Cut: Copy the current selection into the clipboard, and then
delete current selection
Copy: Copy the current selection into the clipboard
Paste: Paste the contents of the clipboard into the current document
Select All: Select the entire document
3.2.3. In the "Nav" menu
Add Bookmark: Create a bookmark at the current location (currently
not implemented)
Edit Bookmarks: Rename and/or delete any existing bookmarks
(currently not implemented)
Goto Bookmark: Select a bookmark to go to (currently not implemented)
Find: Find a string in current Doc file (currently not
implemented)
Find again: Repeate previous find operation (currently not implemented)
Replace: Find and replace a string in current Doc file
(currently not implemented)
3.3. Launch Guide
Tap on the icon labeled "Doc Who" in the Launcher.
