What is Virtual Flagstaff?

The Problem

Relocating when touring remotely is unengaging and does not fully inform people of what they are signing up for. As things are now, there is no entertaining way to maintain prospective residents' attention and help them learn about the place they are moving to. In fact potential residents are expected to locate and piece together information from many different, and at times unreliable, sources. This is what Virtual Flagstaff intends to fix.

The Solution

Virtual Flagstaff is a gamified relocation experience that has a desire to teach future residents about Flagstaff's: Weather, History, Reacreational Activities, Education, Job Opportunities and more! This game will allow its' users to click a single link that brings them to a world with a plethora of safely sourced and informing material about Flagstaff, Arizona.

The Inspiration

Padraic "Paddy" McGarry is this project's sponsor and conceptualizer. After his experience with the realty market Paddy realized the major flaws currently imbeded in the relocation process. Recognizing these issues motivated Paddy to think of a better way. With inspiration drawing from the retro games of his childhood, Virtual Flagstaff started to come alive.

Why is Virtual Flagstaff the Answer?

Virtual Flagstaff will address many of the issues currently challenging the realty market. By offering a single source of reliable information including variables people reloacting need to know, Virtual Flagstaff can completely shift how people view moving to a new place.

The Outcome

Upon a successful realization of this project, users will be able to interact with a map that has parity to Flagstaff, converse with NPC's that offer informing dialogue and quests, play mini-games that mirror the reality of what certain map locations offer, and more as the idea comes to life. When Peak Adventure Experiences fully realizes this project, Paddy will be able to offer an easy to access, exciting, informative way for prospective home buyers/renters/tourists to see where they are going before they actually visit!
