Problem: Traditional tutoring models are costly, inconsistent, and difficult to scale. Students lack access to personalized academic support tailored to their learning styles.

Motivation: The Metrology Research and Teaching Laboratory (MRTL) at Northern Arizona University recognized the need for a customizable AI-integrated platform to provide scalable and adaptive tutoring solutions for students.

Solution: TutorTech is an AI-powered web application that personalizes the learning experience for each student. Our platform combines a React frontend, Flask API backend, PostgreSQL database, and Qdrant vector search to deliver customized feedback and adaptive tutoring. It empowers students by offering tailored sessions, learning preference settings, and performance tracking tools — all hosted reliably on Render and Vercel.

Outcome: TutorTech reduces student frustration, improves independent learning, and brings AI-assisted education into a real-world academic environment. Our solution saves instructors time while enhancing the quality of academic support available to students.
