Our goal is to assist with motivating newcomers to contribute to Open Source Software. Retaining these developers contributions to projects over time remains a perennial weakness of OSS development. The tools we create will assist our client in eliminating the information overload newcomers experience, as well as motivate future development.

Our client, Dr Igor Steinmacher, completed his PhD in Computer Science at the University of São Paulo and is now an Assistant Professor/Researcher at Northern Arizona University. He is currently working on helping motivate newcomers to contribute to Open Source Software. Our contribution will become one of the tools used in his product.
