Mindy Mill ended operations in August, 1985. This abandoned mill site utilized jaw and cone crushers, a ball mill grinder, and flotation processes to process silver and lead materials.
This mill operated at about 425 tons per day, and processed ores sourced from the McCracken and Flag mines in the area.

To determine any existing contaminants of concern for the site within the Site Investigation (SI), the team verified data through X-Ray Fluorescence (XRF) and Inductively Coupled Plasma (ICP) procedures.
This information has also allowed the team to assess for Resource Recovery.

Project constraints included funding for the subcontracted ICP analysis, to account for this, the team has selected 10 samples to represent the site data.
Inclement weather was a potential hazard, to account for this, the team selected backup sampling dates.
