Signal Mill Preliminary Assessment and Site Investigation

Signal Mill is an old stamp mill that operated at the beginning of the twentieth century and is located approximately 69 miles southeast of Kingman, Arizona. The Bureau of Land Management now owns the land where the mill use to be located and has requested a Preliminary Assessment and Site Investigation. The Preliminary Assessment and Site Investigation is the first step in the Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation, and Liability Act (CERCLA) process and is used to assess threats to human health and the environment.
