Design an on-site wastewater treatment system for the monastery at camp 3. The existing method of wastewater removal and treatment was the use of a septic tank. Since then the septic tank was unattached from the building with the removal of the incoming piping from the monk's quarters. The effluent coming from the monk's quarters was then flowing into an open field. The uncontained waste causes many unsanitary issues such as water-washed, waterborne and water-carried diseases, as well as possibly contributing to the problems with the local typhoid fever issue.
