The Challenge
The purpose of this project is to perform a safety analysis for the Odell Dam, and to evaluate whether the dam can safely pass flood flows. Geotechnical, and hydrologic methods will be used to evaluate aspects of dam safety. Analyses performed will follow Arizona Department of Resources (ADWR) coverings and standards of practice.
The Team
Our fine staff is a group of dedicated student engineers excited to conduct a dam saftey analysis. The project lead, Braedan Hinojosa, has taken on the challenge along with his collegues: Ibrahim Atout, Chandler Hammond, Sharlot Eisentraut and Yaowan Ma.
