Project Description
The primary objective for the Northern Arizona University (NAU) Baja Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE) 2026 team is to design, build, and race a small off-road vehicle. This vehicle needs to be meet or exceed technical specifications found in the Collegiate Design Series Baja SAE Rules 2026 and excel in dynamic events at the Baja SAE competition in Washougal, Washington which is currently scheduled for May 7th to 10th, 2026. The dynamic events include sections such as acceleration, hill climb, maneuverability, rock crawl, and endurance. In order to achieve a competitive edge against other competitors.
