Off-Road Bumper

Main Content

Project Description

The off-road bumper team will create three bumpers (one front bumper and two rear bumper)  that are stronger and more durable than the existing bumpers for the two different vehicles. To do this, the team will design 3D models in SolidWorks and then convert them into DFX format.

The requirements for the bumpers are that they must be able to support a winch, withstand rough impacts, retain the factory lines, bolt to the existing mounting locations, have aftermarket lighting, maintain the use of all factory sensors, have custom engravings, have a front license plate mount, and be powder coated. The team will be limited to $1,500 to create all three bumpers
