Our team consists of four NAU Undergraduate Students pursuing bachelor's degrees in Mechanical Engineering. The team aspires to use its collective experience in engineering studies to address the issues of clean energy and heating solutions on the Navajo and Hopi Reservations.
Jeff is an aspiring engineer with a background in structural design and drafting. Working at a conveying manufacturer for the past six years has provided him with a healthy understanding of infrastructure and its importance in society. He is passionate about sustainable energy alternatives and building a foundation for a better future.
Edwin is a motivated engineering student who intends to get his Bachelor's Degree in Spring 2020. His country of origin is Mexico and his goal is to support communities with his engineering skills. He is excited to serve as the communications manager for the Red Feather Capstone team.
Jake is a senior at NAU studying Mechanical Engineering with a minor in mathematics. He is interested in renewable energy and solving real-world issues. He is very excited to be a part of the Red Feather Capstone Team.
Will is a senior engineering student at NAU with a major in Mechanical Engineering and a minor in Civil Engineering. He is excited to be a part of a project that uses new technologies to solve current problems. Interests include renewable energy, biomedical technology, and local governments.
