For our project the team decided to use an electrochromic windscreen. The use of this on the vehicle was to provide anti-theft protection. When the ignition key is off the window is opaque. Once the gnition is turned on the window turns clear and can be seen below in the picture. Future modifications would be to use different a different tint allowing the initial state to be clear, but once turned on a controllable switch which would allow the user to tint the window. This would allow the window to work as sunglasses and the darkness would be controlled by the user.
