Lauren Green

Lauren Green graduated from Corona del Sol High School in the top 5% of the graduating class and continued her academic excellence at Northern Arizona University. She completed 184 credits for a double major and minor in six years with 3.3 GPA. She was chosen for a National Science Foundation REU position in Darmstadt, Germany researching the gear mesh forces in a particular automotive transmission.
Also, she participated in the Society of Automotive Engineers student club then became president for two years, initiating the Urban Concept Vehicle project. The first year's team designed, fundraised, manufactured, and passed technical inspection at the Shell Eco-Competition in under 7 months. The second year's project was an engineering capstone course project and completed an electric Urban Concept Vehicle. Lauren was the team leader for the Frame & Suspension subgroup and participated in the organization of the total build project.
